These Terms of Use govern your use of VibeSpeak, an English speaking practice app with optional AI feedback and auto-renewable subscriptions.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using VibeSpeak, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Service Description
VibeSpeak helps you record short speaking practice, generate transcripts through iOS speech recognition, review practice history, and optionally request AI feedback. The app is for self-practice and learning support. It is not an official exam, certified language assessment, professional education credential, or guarantee of learning results.
3. Your Content
You keep ownership of the speech, video, transcript, and other content you create in the app. You grant us a limited right to process content only as needed to operate the features you request, including transcription, AI feedback, security checks, and troubleshooting.
You are responsible for the content you record or submit. Do not record or submit illegal, harmful, infringing, abusive, or privacy-invasive content.
4. AI Feedback
AI feedback may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific situation. Use it as practice guidance, not as professional advice or an official score. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to rely on any suggestion.
5. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal
VibeSpeak may offer Pro access through auto-renewable subscriptions, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans where available. Product availability, pricing, free trials, and introductory offers may vary by country or region and are shown in the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm purchase.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in App Store account settings.
- If a free trial or introductory offer is available, any unused portion may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where Apple policy allows.
- Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
VibeSpeak uses RevenueCat to help manage subscription entitlement status and restore purchases. Apple handles payment processing and refund decisions under App Store rules.
6. Free and Paid Features
Some features may be free, limited, paid, or subject to daily usage limits. We may change feature availability, quotas, or subscription benefits as the product evolves, while respecting purchases already required to be honored by applicable platform rules.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to bypass subscriptions, quotas, signatures, rate limits, or security controls.
- Do not reverse engineer, overload, scrape, attack, or interfere with the app or backend service.
- Do not use the service to generate or process unlawful, hateful, harassing, exploitative, or infringing content.
- Do not misrepresent AI feedback as an official certification, exam result, or professional assessment.
8. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep VibeSpeak available, but the app may be interrupted by network issues, Apple services, AI provider availability, maintenance, or technical failures. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when needed.
9. Intellectual Property
The app, design, software, branding, and service materials are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any rights except the limited right to use the app as permitted by these Terms.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VibeSpeak is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect transcription, error-free AI feedback, specific learning progress, or compatibility with every device or region.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the app.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, abused the service, or created security, legal, or operational risk.
13. Apple Terms
Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple Media Services Terms and App Store rules. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for VibeSpeak.
14. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms when the app, subscriptions, backend, or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the latest version.
